What Our Clients Say

Quentin Christie Associate Director Strategic Programmes, University of Auckland

I have attended many courses over my career but have never been to one which inspired those in the room to make a major transformational difference. The course focuses not on the tools but more importantly how AI as a business imperative integrates to help business transform and grow in an exponentially changing world.

Dan Oramali Group Manager, Finance Business Partnering, Engenco Limited

AI isn't something finance professionals should avoid, it's something we should learn to work alongside. Used well, AI can accelerate insights, improve efficiency, and create space for finance leaders to focus on what matters most: strategy, decision-making, risk, and value creation

Why this Intensive exists

Foundations builds your personal AI capability. Change Agent teaches you to lead AI initiatives across teams and organisations. They're designed to be taken in sequence. The Intensive delivers both in a single Melbourne week.

For professionals who want to complete the full AI-Native practitioner pathway without two separate trips, the Intensive is the most efficient route.

Who Should Attend

The Melbourne Intensive is for the people expected to make AI work in their organisation — not by building models, but by developing the capability to use AI well and lead AI work end to end.

This course is suited to you if:

  • you're a consultant, coach, or transformation lead guiding AI adoption across teams and stakeholders
  • you sit between business and delivery and are asked to align priorities, people, and decisions around AI initiatives
  • you're a project, programme, or delivery leader accountable for AI outcomes
  • you want to build personal AI capability and step into a more active role in leading AI initiatives

No technical background is required. No prior AI certification is needed before the Foundations days.

Participants commonly include consultants, agile coaches, transformation leads, project and programme managers, product and delivery leaders, solutions architects, and senior practitioners from enterprise, government, and mid-market organisations across Australia and New Zealand.

What You'll Be Able to Do

After completing the Melbourne Intensive, you'll be able to:

  • diagnose why AI initiatives stall and identify what needs to change
  • align stakeholders across business, delivery, risk, and governance
  • design AI initiatives that are viable, fundable, and adoptable
  • guide delivery through uncertainty as AI capability, costs, and constraints shift
  • redesign real workflows using the right AI approach, safely and responsibly
  • explain AI concepts clearly to colleagues and stakeholders in plain English
  • measure outcomes and carry learning forward into the next initiative

Across five days, you'll work on real scenarios and your own organisational context.

On the Foundations days, you'll redesign a real workflow from your own organisation, estimate the impact, and leave with a first-30-days activation plan.

On the Change Agent days, you'll work in small teams to rescue a stalled AI initiative called Project Cygnus, applying the AI-Native Value Blueprint to diagnose, redesign, align stakeholders, and build a roadmap to production.

Throughout all five days, you'll use AI actively — generating questions, testing options, and supporting facilitation — while keeping human judgement and accountability front and centre.

You won't be building models or learning tools. You'll be developing the judgement and capability to use AI well and to lead AI work end to end.

Pretty Agile is the AI-Native Charter Partner for Australia and New Zealand, selected by Scaled Agile from over 80 applicants globally.

What Pretty Agile brings to the delivery:

  • trainers who use AI daily in consulting and enterprise delivery, not trainers reading slides
  • the same trainer across all five days, so context built in Foundations carries directly into the Change Agent work without re-entry cost
  • practical fluency across ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, and other tools, so facilitation adapts to whatever your team actually uses
  • Australian and New Zealand enterprise context applied throughout, including governance, risk, and procurement realities
  • 94% of Pretty Agile's AI-Native Foundations participants reported increased confidence in applying AI, across all deliveries for public and private clients

Designed by Scaled Agile. Delivered by Pretty Agile. Focused on helping organisations use AI deliberately, safely, and well.

Days 1–2: AI-Native Foundations

AI-Native thinking and the EDGE forces Understand what's changing and why, and what it means to work AI-Native in a real organisational context.

AI in plain English How GenAI works, and what it can and can't do. Covers LLMs, prompting, safe use, RAG, and intelligent agents — no technical background required.

The 7 AI-Native Success Factors What makes adoption stick: upskilling, context, workflow integration, learning loops, value alignment, and governance.

Workflow redesign and business brief Redesign one of your own workflows using the right AI approach, and capture it in a format ready for a low-risk organisational pilot.

AI as your Thought Partner Move beyond task execution. Practise challenging assumptions, expanding options, and stress-testing ideas before committing to a direction.

Roadmap to AI-Native Build a practical plan for moving from individual capability to team influence and organisational impact.

Days 3–5: AI-Native Change Agent

The Change Agent role and the human work Why AI initiatives stall, how to spot failure patterns early, and how to unlock value from existing AI tools and investments before building anything new.

Discovery and stakeholder alignment How to run discovery that surfaces the real problem, constraints, and stakeholders — and how to facilitate alignment across diverse groups.

Designing a viable AI solution How to translate business needs into a realistic AI solution approach, including data strategy, production operations, risk, and adoption considerations.

Building the investment case How to frame time-to-value, adoption risk, and the business case for investment.

Delivering through change How to build resilient roadmaps, remove blockers, use fast learning cycles to pivot or persevere, and carry learning forward into the next initiative.

One registration covers both courses in full.
