Are you ready to take your Agile team to the next level? Look no further than SAFe for Teams, the premier training course for establishing team agility and high-performance within Agile Release Trains (ART).
In this course, you'll learn all about your role on an Agile team and how your team works with others as part of an ART. With a focus on both tactical skills and strategic guidance, SAFe for Teams equips you with the knowledge and tools needed to execute work effectively and efficiently, whether you're working with co-located or distributed teams.
Through hands-on exercises, real-world examples, and expert instruction, you'll gain a deep understanding of SAFe principles and how they apply to scaling Lean-Agile delivery. You'll also learn how to plan and execute iterations and Planning Intervals (PIs), and continuously improve the ART through retrospectives and other tools.
SAFe for Teams isn't just about individual learning - it's also about building a strong, collaborative team culture. By taking this course with your entire team, you'll develop a shared understanding of Agile principles and practices and gain the collective knowledge needed to collaborate effectively and deliver value to customers.

All are welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience. However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended for those who intend to take the SAFe Practitioner certification exam: 
  • Familiarity with Agile concepts and principles 
  • Awareness of Scrum, Kanban, and XP 
  • Working knowledge of software and hardware development processes

To perform the role of a SAFe Practitioner, attendees should be able to: 
  • Apply SAFe to scale Lean and Agile development in their enterprise 
  • Know their team and its role on the Agile Release Train 
  • Know all other teams on the train, their roles, and the dependencies between the teams 
  • Plan Iterations 
  • Execute Iterations and demonstrate value 
  • Plan Program Increments 
  • Integrate and work with other teams on the train

  • Introducing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) 
  • Building an Agile Team 
  • Planning the Iteration 
  • Executing the Iteration 
  • Executing the Program Increment 
  • Becoming a Certified SAFe Practitioner

Attendees may be eligible to apply for PDUs toward their continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP, PgMP, and PMI-ACP certifications. 
 
Certified SAFe professionals may be eligible to apply for Scrum Education Units (SEUs) toward earning or renewing a Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) designation through the Scrum Alliance. Please confirm requirements with Scrum Alliance’s SEU policy before submitting units for credit.
