The SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager course is designed to empower SAFe Product Owners and SAFe Product Managers to lead value creation within Agile Release Trains (ARTs). This course, also known as the SAFe Product Owner certification, has approximately a 70% focus on the Product Owner role and a 30% focus on the SAFe Product Manager role. Holistically, participants gain crucial skills to bridge the gap between strategy and execution. 

Through practical learning experiences, you'll master techniques for managing backlogs, refining work items, and optimising collaboration with teams and stakeholders to continuously deliver value. Earning the SAFe POPM certification will prepare you to lead and contribute more effectively to PI planning. This will improve your organisation's ability to meet customer demands and respond to market changes with agility and precision.

There are no mandatory prerequisites for the SAFe PO PM certification; however, this class assumes that participants have an understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework. Therefore, the following prerequisites are highly recommended:

  • Attend a Leading SAFe course
  • Experience working in a SAFe environment
  • Experience with Lean, Agile, or other relevant certifications

  • Course workbook (physical & digital)
  • SAFe Big Picture and Implementation Roadmap handouts
  • Access to the SAFe Scrum Master certification exam
  • One-year membership to SAFe Studio (if this is your first SAFe certification)
  • Course certificate of completion
  • E-learning courses to help you prepare for the class
  • Fun Pretty Agile swag includes a SAFe POPM certification laptop sticker.
  • Postage of physical materials.
Note: Attendees must attend both days of the course to be eligible for the POPM certification exam.
 
Product Owner/Product Manager 6.0 Training Kit

Yes, the course registration fee includes the exam fee for your first attempt.

The instructor provides access to the exam at the end of the class.

You will have 30 days to take the exam online via SAFe Studio at a time and place of your choosing. You do not need to schedule the exam in advance.
