What Our Clients Say

Quentin Christie Associate Director Strategic Programmes at The University of Auckland

I have attended many courses over my career but have never been to one which inspired those in the room to make a major transformational difference. This week I was part of AI-Native Foundations delivered by Em Campbell-Pretty [and] Adrienne Wilson. The course focuses not on the tools but more importantly how AI as a business imperative integrates to help business transform and grow in an exponentially changing world. I am now applying what I learned to deliver business value for the University of Auckland.

Erin Quirke Senior Project Manager at The University of Auckland

This course wasn’t just theory — it was packed with practical tools, frameworks, and 💡 moments. Whilst I do use some AI tools to optimise outputs, the real excitement is in reimagining what’s possible tomorrow — and I can’t wait to double down and keep exploring that with our team. The shift from AI as a tool to AI as a personal IF and thought partner is simple but powerful. I’m curious to see how next week’s way of working is enhanced, and genuinely excited about how strategic planning and execution at the University could be transformed. Huge thanks to Em Campbell-Pretty and Adrienne Wilson for making the experience so engaging, energising, and full of “aha!” moments.

Kate Backler Release Train Engineer at University of Auckland

What truly elevated the experience was the collective energy and insight from the amazing people from across the University who attended. The diversity of thought, the curiosity, and the willingness to explore and experiment in real time to see how being AI Native and how to apply AI responsibly in our work was game changing. A huge thank you to Em Campbell-Pretty, Adrienne Wilson, and the team at Pretty Agile for delivering such a fun, engaging, practical and thought-provoking course. And to everyone who participated and shared so openly—the ideas and enthusiasm in the room made all the difference.

Sefo Pouli-Lefale Functional Analyst at University of Auckland

???? AI is moving fast—and I’m glad to be moving with it. I’ve just completed the AI-Native Foundations course and certification with AI-Native Training by Scaled Agile, Inc. earning the AI-Native badge as part of the second APAC cohort. The course gave me a solid foundation in how to embed AI into everyday work and decision-making, using the EDGE framework (Exponential, Disruptive, Generative, Emergent) to make sense of the shifts happening around us. Big thanks to Pretty Agile, Em Campbell-Pretty and Adrienne Wilson for delivering such a valuable learning experience—and to Quentin Christie and Kate Backler at University of Auckland for supporting this opportunity. If you’re curious about how AI can support your work or team, I’d definitely recommend checking out the AI-Native learning journey. #AINative #ScaledAgile #AI #FutureOfWork #DigitalTransformation #EDGEFramework #ProfessionalDevelopment #UniversityOfAuckland

Jacinta Penn Career Consultant - Online Resources at The University of Auckland

Have you felt that your organisation is getting behind you with AI? Or are you thrown some tools and left to it? I’ve just finished the Scaled Agile AI Foundations course and really enjoyed it. I already knew a fair bit about prompting, but what stood out for me was the focus on how AI can actually fit into real business workflows. It helped me see how the tools I’ve been experimenting with could be used more systematically — and it built a lot of confidence that I’m on the right track. That it's not about leaving it to IT but about using it in our day to day and to provide improved services. What I appreciated most was the balance between curiosity and responsibility — using AI well, not just using it. Having the University of Auckland organising this training for a large group gave it real weight and made me feel encouraged to keep exploring, but to do it thoughtfully, securely and to solve real problems, for us and our students. Doing it with all UoA staff enabled us to be much more candid and constructive, something I definitely recommend to other organisations. I came away with some practical ideas I can share with my team, and a sense that AI can be a positive enabler, not a scary future — which feels like the right place to be. Thanks so much Em Campbell-Pretty and Adrienne Wilson #AI #ProfessionalDevelopment #UniversityofAuckland #ScaledAgile #Learning

Larisa Ivanova Consultant: Organisational Performance and Improvement at The University of Auckland

I've completed the AI-Native Training by Scaled Agile, Inc. as part of the first APAC cohort led by Em Campbell-Pretty and Adrienne Wilson. What stood out wasn’t just the technology, it was how deeply AI thinking connects to business transformation and people-centered change. I’ve already started applying these ideas at the University of Auckland. It was great to be part of the very first cohort, learning together with such an inspiring group made the experience even richer. Inspiring to see AI framed not as hype, but as a discipline that helps us design smarter, more human systems. #AINative, #ScaledAgile,#Leadership, #ServiceExcellence, #ContinuousImprovement

Emily Hanna Programme Change Manager at The University of Auckland

Feeling energised after completing the AI-Native Foundations course by Scaled Agile, Inc. - and even more so knowing I was part of the first global cohort! Big thanks to Em Campbell-Pretty and Adrienne Wilson for making this journey genuinely inspiring. Excited to keep exploring how to “think AI-first” - not just use the tools, but redesign how we do the work.

Why this course exists

AI is everywhere. Using it well at work is harder than it looks.

Between the hype, headlines, and a flood of tools, many organisations are stuck experimenting.
People try AI here and there, but it rarely changes how work actually gets done.

There’s often:

  • no shared language for talking about AI
  • no clear guardrails for safe, responsible use
  • no practical way to decide what’s worth using AI for — and what isn’t

That’s where most AI training falls short.
It focuses on tools or concepts, but not on how to redesign real work inside real organisational constraints.

AI-Native Foundations exists to close that gap.

This course focuses on how work actually flows — and how AI fits into it responsibly.
You’ll build practical AI fluency, apply proven success factors, and redesign a real workflow so you leave with something useful, not just new knowledge.

Whether you work in HR, finance, product, operations, customer support, or enablement, this course gives you a clear, practical way to move from experimentation to AI-enabled ways of working.

Who Should Attend

This course is for professionals who need to use AI well at work — whether it’s part of your role already, or you can see it’s heading your way.

You don’t need to be technical.
If AI is already showing up in your work — or you’re being asked to make sense of it, apply it responsibly, or explain it to others — this course is designed for you.

You’ll get the most value if you’re responsible for improving how work gets done, including people in roles such as:

  • HR and people teams shaping safe-use policies, learning, hiring, or workforce workflows
  • Finance professionals using AI for reporting, analysis, approvals, forecasting, or controls
  • Customer support and service roles redesigning service processes or response models
  • Operations, enablement, or change roles creating standards, playbooks, and guardrails
  • Product and delivery professionals integrating AI into value streams without breaking what already works
  • Managers and team leads turning AI ambition into practical outcomes

AI-Native Foundations gives you the shared language, practical frameworks, and confidence to use AI responsibly and make deliberate improvements to real work — no technical background required.

What You’ll Be Able to Do After This AI Course

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to use AI confidently and responsibly in real work — no technical background required.

You’ll be able to:

  • explain AI concepts clearly to colleagues, stakeholders, and technical teams using shared, plain-English language
  • identify where AI will genuinely add value in your role, and where it won’t
  • redesign a real workflow to improve speed, quality, or consistency
  • apply practical guardrails for safe and responsible AI use, reducing brand, compliance, and reputational risk
  • make deliberate decisions about how AI is used, rather than chasing tools or trends
  • take a concrete next step after the course, supported by a first-30-days activation plan and a clear path to broader impact

This course is designed to help you move from experimentation to useful, responsible change — with outputs you can take back into your organisation.

What you’ll actually work on

This is not a tools demo or a slide-heavy course. Across two days, you’ll work on:

  • A real workflow from your own context, redesigned using the right AI approach
  • A one-page, organisation-ready workflow brief outlining value, guardrails, success measures, and a low-risk first step
  • Practical AI scenarios, covering LLMs, prompting, RAG, and agents in plain English
  • The 7 AI-Native Success Factors, applied to real work so adoption sticks

You’ll spend your time applying ideas, testing assumptions, and making decisions you can carry back into your organisation.

Why choose Pretty Agile

AI-Native Foundations is a course created by Scaled Agile, designed to help organisations build shared AI fluency and adopt AI responsibly as part of everyday work.

Pretty Agile is the Charter Partner for AI-Native training in Australia and New Zealand, selected to deliver this course in the region.

Our role is to deliver the curriculum in a way that is practical, grounded, and relevant to how Australian and New Zealand organisations are actually working with AI today. We focus on real workflows, real constraints, and the decisions people need to make when AI moves from experimentation into day-to-day use.

Alongside formal training, we work with leaders and teams on the realities that sit underneath AI adoption, including:

  • how AI fits into existing ways of working
  • how decisions are made when capability is still evolving
  • how risk, constraints, and guardrails are handled early
  • how AI becomes routine, responsible practice rather than a side experiment
  • Training is delivered in person across Australia and New Zealand and is highly interactive by design. Sessions focus on facilitated discussion, applied scenarios, and working through real workflows and decisions — not tool demos or theory.

Designed by Scaled Agile.
Delivered by Pretty Agile.
Focused on helping organisations use AI deliberately, safely, and well.

This course is built for business professionals, not just tech teams. Across two hands-on days, you’ll learn how to work AI-Native: using AI responsibly, designing better workflows, and turning experimentation into practical impact.

Day 1: Understand what’s changing and how AI actually works

AI-Native thinking (EDGE)
Understand the four forces reshaping work (Exponential, Disruptive, Generative, Emergent) and what it means to work AI-Native in real organisational contexts.

AI basics in plain English
Learn how GenAI works and what it can and can’t do. We’ll cover LLMs, prompting, safe use, RAG, and intelligent agents without requiring a technical background.

Day 2: Make it stick, redesign real work, and drive momentum

The 7 AI-Native Success Factors
Learn what makes adoption stick: upskilling, context, workflow integration, learning loops, value alignment, and governance.

Workflow redesign + practical brief
Redesign one of your own workflows using the right AI approach, then capture it in a simple, organisation-ready workflow brief for a low-risk pilot.
Examples include onboarding in HR, month-end reporting in finance, or support triage.

Roadmap to AI-Native
Build a practical plan to move from individual capability to team influence and organisational impact.

Tell your AI-Native story
Learn how to explain your idea clearly to peers and leaders so it gains traction and moves forward.

You’ll walk away with a shared AI vocabulary, a redesigned workflow, a practical brief for a low-risk pilot, and a clear next step for responsible adoption.

To get the most out of AI-Native Foundations, you’ll need:

  • a laptop with internet access (the course is hands-on)
  • access to a generative AI tool, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or Gemini
  • an openness to try things and learn — no technical background required

You’re welcome to use whichever tool is available or approved in your organisation.
We focus on how to think and work with AI, not on any single platform.

If you already use GenAI at work, you’ll apply it to real scenarios.
If you’ve never used it before, that’s fine — we’ll walk through everything in plain English.

You won’t be asked to share sensitive or confidential data, and all exercises are designed for responsible, workplace-safe use.

Your AI-Native Foundations experience includes:

  • Two days of live, in-person training delivered by a certified AI-Native Trainer
  • Official course materials via SAFe Studio, including templates and practical resources
