This course is for business professionals who are expected to use AI—without the luxury of trial and error.

You don’t need to be technical. If you’re already getting questions about AI—or feeling the pressure to “use it” without a plan—this is for you.

You’ll fit right in if you’re:

  • In HR, building safe-use policies or exploring AI for hiring, learning, or workflow automation

  • In finance, using AI for reporting, risk analysis, approvals, or forecasting

  • In customer support, looking to speed up response times or redesign service processes

  • In operations or enablement, creating playbooks, standards, and guardrails for responsible AI use

  • In product or delivery, trying to integrate AI into value streams without breaking what already works

  • A business leader, expected to turn AI ambition into measurable results

  • A team coach or change-maker, ready to move from curiosity to capability—and help others do the same

AI-Native Foundations gives you the language, frameworks, and confidence to lead responsibly with AI—no tech background required.

By the end of the course, you’ll know how to use AI to work smarter, not harder—no technical background required.

You’ll be able to:

  • Talk confidently about AI with colleagues, stakeholders, and tech teams

  • Spot high-impact opportunities to use AI in your own work—whether in HR, finance, operations, support, or delivery

  • Redesign everyday workflows to save time or improve quality

  • Use AI safely and responsibly, with clear guardrails that reduce brand, compliance, and reputational risk

  • Make smarter decisions about when and how to use AI—not just chase tools or trends

  • Create a clear AI action plan to put what you’ve learned into practice straight away

This course helps you move from guessing to doing—with practical skills you can use immediately, no matter your role.

This course is built for business professionals—not just tech teams. Across two hands-on days, you’ll learn to think and work differently with AI.

Day 1

Lesson 1: EDGE + AI-Native Thinking

  • Understand the four forces transforming modern work—Exponential, Disruptive, Generative, and Emergent—and what it means to be AI-Native.

Lesson 2: AI Basics (in plain English)

  • Learn how AI works and what it can (and can’t) do. We’ll cover large language models, prompting, safe use, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and intelligent agents—no technical background required.

Day 2

Lesson 3: The 7 AI-Native Success Factors

  • Discover what makes AI adoption stick—from upskilling and workflow redesign to safety, governance, and alignment.

Lesson 4: Workflow Redesign + Business Brief

  • Redesign one of your own workflows to deliver real value using AI. You’ll build a business case and learn how to talk about impact. E.g. mapping how AI could improve onboarding in HR, month-end reporting in Finance, or support ticket triage.

Lesson 5: Roadmap to AI-Native

  • Build an action plan to move from individual skill to team influence and organisational impact.

Lesson 6: Tell Your AI-Native Story

  • Learn how to pitch your idea to peers, managers, or execs with confidence—and turn insight into momentum.

You’ll walk away with a shared AI vocabulary, a redesigned workflow, a personal roadmap—and the confidence to use AI responsibly and effectively in your role.

To get the most out of AI-Native Foundations, you’ll need a few essentials on the day:

  • A laptop with internet access (you’ll be hands-on throughout)

  • Access to a generative AI tool like ChatGPT, Claude, CoPilot, or Gemini

    • We recommend a paid ChatGPT account for the best results, but you’re welcome to use the platform you prefer

  • A mindset of curiosity and experimentation — no technical background required

Never used GenAI before? No problem.

We’ll walk you through it in plain English—no coding, no setup, no stress.

Your AI-Native Foundations experience includes

  • Two days of live, in-person training with a certified AI-Native Trainer

What Our Clients Say

Quentin Christie Associate Director Strategic Programmes at The University of Auckland

I have attended many courses over my career but have never been to one which inspired those in the room to make a major transformational difference. This week I was fortunate enough to be part of the first APAC Cohort to attend AI-Native Foundations delivered by our friends Em Campbell-Pretty Adrienne Wilson. The course focuses not on the tools but more importantly how AI as a business imperative integrates to help business transform and grow in an exponentially changing world. Not only did I attend, I'm proud to say I passed the certification exam. I am now applying what I learned to deliver business value for the University of Auckland

Erin Quirke Senior Project Manager at The University of Auckland

Proud to be part of the inaugural APAC cohort of the AI Native Foundations course! 🎓 🎉 Thrilled to have passed the exam and earned my certified AI-Native Foundations Professional credential. Keen to keep learning in this space. This course wasn’t just theory — it was packed with practical tools, frameworks, and💡 moments. I’m already sharing what I’ve learned with my family and colleagues (including my 80+ never-retiring father! 😁 ). Whilst I do use some AI tools to optimise outputs, the real excitement is in reimagining what’s possible tomorrow — and I can’t wait to double down and keep exploring that with our team. The shift from AI as a tool to AI as a personal IF and thought partner is simple but powerful. I’m curious to see how next week’s way of working is enhanced, and genuinely excited about how strategic planning and execution at the University could be transformed. Huge thanks to Em Campbell-Pretty and Adrienne Wilson of for making the experience so engaging, energising, and full of “aha!” moments. Let’s keep building the future together. 🚀 #AINative #AILeadership #StrategicTransformation #LifelongLearning #FutureOfWork #APACCohort #UniversityofAuckland

Sefo Pouli-Lefale Functional Analyst at University of Auckland

🤖 AI is moving fast—and I’m glad to be moving with it. I’ve just completed the AI-Native Foundations course and certification with AI-Native Training by Scaled Agile, Inc. earning the AI-Native badge as part of the second APAC cohort. The course gave me a solid foundation in how to embed AI into everyday work and decision-making, using the EDGE framework (Exponential, Disruptive, Generative, Emergent) to make sense of the shifts happening around us. Big thanks to Pretty Agile, Em Campbell-Pretty and Adrienne Wilson for delivering such a valuable learning experience—and to Quentin Christie and Kate Backler at University of Auckland for supporting this opportunity. If you’re curious about how AI can support your work or team, I’d definitely recommend checking out the AI-Native learning journey. #AINative #ScaledAgile #AI #FutureOfWork #DigitalTransformation #EDGEFramework #ProfessionalDevelopment #UniversityOfAuckland

Jacinta Penn Career Consultant - Online Resources at The University of Auckland

Have you felt that your organisation is getting behind you with AI? Or are you thrown some tools and left to it? I’ve just finished the Scaled Agile AI Foundations course and really enjoyed it. I already knew a fair bit about prompting, but what stood out for me was the focus on how AI can actually fit into real business workflows. It helped me see how the tools I’ve been experimenting with could be used more systematically — and it built a lot of confidence that I’m on the right track. That it's not about leaving it to IT but about using it in our day to day and to provide improved services. What I appreciated most was the balance between curiosity and responsibility — using AI well, not just using it. Having the University of Auckland organising this training for a large group gave it real weight and made me feel encouraged to keep exploring, but to do it thoughtfully, securely and to solve real problems, for us and our students. Doing it with all UoA staff enabled us to be much more candid and constructive, something I definitely recommend to other organisations. I came away with some practical ideas I can share with my team, and a sense that AI can be a positive enabler, not a scary future — which feels like the right place to be. Thanks so much Em Campbell-Pretty and Adrienne Wilson #AI #ProfessionalDevelopment #UniversityofAuckland #ScaledAgile #Learning

Kate Backler Release Train Engineer at University of Auckland

Admittedly, the timing wasn’t perfect for AI Native—balancing the final days of PI Planning Prep meant a degree of context switching- But boy, am I glad I did. And, I passed the exam to boot (phew!) What truly elevated the experience was the collective energy and insight from the amazing people from across the University who attended. The diversity of thought, the curiosity, and the willingness to explore and experiment in real time to see how being AI Native and how to apply AI responsibly in our work was game changing. A huge thank you to Em Campbell-Pretty, Adrienne Wilson, and the team at Pretty Agile for delivering such a fun, engaging, practical and thought-provoking course. And to everyone who participated and shared so openly—the ideas and enthusiasm in the room made all the difference. Here’s to continuing the journey of becoming truly AI Native #AINative #ContinuousLearning #PrettyAgile #Gratitude #AIinBusiness

I've completed the AI-Native Training by Scaled Agile, Inc. as part of the first APAC cohort led by Em Campbell-Pretty and Adrienne Wilson. What stood out wasn’t just the technology, it was how deeply AI thinking connects to business transformation and people-centered change. I’ve already started applying these ideas at the University of Auckland. It was great to be part of the very first cohort, learning together with such an inspiring group made the experience even richer. Inspiring to see AI framed not as hype, but as a discipline that helps us design smarter, more human systems. #AINative, #ScaledAgile,#Leadership, #ServiceExcellence, #ContinuousImprovement
