What Our Clients Say

Quentin Christie Associate Director Strategic Programmes at The University of Auckland

I have attended many courses over my career but have never been to one which inspired those in the room to make a major transformational difference. I was part of AI-Native Foundations delivered by Em Campbell-Pretty and Adrienne Wilson. The course focuses not on the tools but more importantly how AI as a business imperative integrates to help business transform and grow in an exponentially changing world. I am now applying what I learned to deliver business value for the University of Auckland.

Nadia Thompson Portfolio Manager/Delivery Manager at Foodstuffs North Island

A huge thank you to Pretty Agile for running a hugely practical course — I've been dabbling with AI for a while now, but this course had really enabled me to make use of AI properly and truly see its potential. I created a chatbot, I've started creating my own workflow... and I am actively trying to use my new learning partner in most of the things I seek to do. Fantastic course, extremely well run — would recommend to anyone who wants to make the leap from 'dabbling' with AI to really embracing and using it — as an AI Native.

Dan Oramali Group Manager, Finance Business Partnering at Engenco

AI isn't something finance professionals should avoid — it's something we should learn to work alongside. Used well, AI can accelerate insights, improve efficiency, and create space for finance leaders to focus on what matters most: strategy, decision-making, risk, and value creation. The opportunity for finance is significant, but it starts with being AI-native! Thanks to Adrienne Wilson and the team at Pretty Agile.

Mark Luckey Director at Storyboard Multimedia

Just completed what is easily the most applicable AI course for people who don't code but want the impact — AI-Native Foundations by Scaled Agile. Over the past 3 years I've done about 8 different AI courses of various types and application. This one easily the best, totally recommend it — Adrienne Wilson from Pretty Agile delivers an awesome course from a brilliant background.

Jarrod Friday, Salesforce Product Owner, at RACV.

Really practical course focused on using AI in real workflows, not just theory. Lots to take straight back into day?to?day work. Big thanks to Adrienne Wilson for the great facilitation and guidance throughout the course. It was engaging from start to end.

Erin Quirke Senior Project Manager at The University of Auckland

This course wasn’t just theory — it was packed with practical tools, frameworks, and ???? moments. Whilst I do use some AI tools to optimise outputs, the real excitement is in reimagining what’s possible tomorrow — and I can’t wait to double down and keep exploring that with our team. The shift from AI as a tool to AI as a personal thought partner is simple but powerful. I’m curious and genuinely excited about how strategic planning and execution at the University could be transformed. Huge thanks to Em Campbell-Pretty and Adrienne Wilson for making the experience so engaging, energising, and full of “aha!” moments.

Why this course exists

AI is everywhere. Using it well at work is harder than it looks.

BCG research found that 60% of employees using AI have had no training. The gap isn't awareness — it's structured capability.

Between the hype, headlines, and a flood of tools, most organisations are stuck experimenting. People try AI here and there, but it rarely changes how work actually gets done.

There's often:

  • no shared language for explaining AI decisions to your manager or your team
  • no clear guardrails for safe, responsible use
  • no practical way to decide what's worth using AI for, and what isn't

That's where most AI training falls short. It focuses on tools or concepts, but not on how to redesign real work inside real organisational constraints.

Who Should Attend

If everyone around you is talking about AI and you're not sure what you're supposed to be doing with it, this course is designed for you.

You don't need to be technical. If AI is already showing up in your work — or you're being asked to make sense of it, apply it responsibly, or explain it to others — AI-Native Foundations gives you a clear way forward.

You'll get the most value if you're responsible for improving how work gets done, including people in roles such as:

  • HR and people teams shaping safe-use policies, learning, hiring, or workforce workflows
  • Finance professionals using AI for reporting, analysis, approvals, forecasting, or controls
  • Customer support and service roles redesigning service processes or response models
  • Operations, enablement, or change roles creating standards, playbooks, and guardrails
  • Product and delivery professionals integrating AI into value streams without breaking what already works
  • Managers and team leads turning AI ambition into practical outcomes

What You’ll Be Able to Do After This AI Course

After completing AI-Native Foundations, you'll be able to:

  • explain AI concepts clearly to colleagues, stakeholders, and technical teams using shared, plain-English language
  • identify where AI will genuinely add value in your role, and where it won't
  • redesign a real workflow to improve speed, quality, or consistency
  • apply practical guardrails for safe and responsible AI use, reducing brand, compliance, and reputational risk
  • make deliberate decisions about how AI is used, rather than chasing tools or trends
  • leave with a first-30-days activation plan and a practical roadmap for scaling what works across your team

What you’ll actually work on

This is not a tools demo or a slide-heavy course. Across two days, you'll work on:

  • a real workflow from your own context, redesigned using the right AI approach
  • practical work on value, guardrails, success measures, and a low-risk first step — captured in a format you can take straight back to your organisation
  • practical AI scenarios covering LLMs, prompting, RAG (using AI grounded in your organisation's own documents), and agents in plain English
  • the 7 AI-Native Success Factors, applied to real work so adoption sticks

You'll spend your time applying ideas, testing assumptions, and making decisions you can carry back into your organisation.

Why train with Pretty Agile

Pretty Agile is the AI-Native Charter Partner for Australia and New Zealand, selected by Scaled Agile from over 80 applicants globally.

What Pretty Agile brings to the delivery:

  • trainers who use AI daily in consulting and enterprise delivery, not trainers reading slides
  • practical fluency across ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, and other tools, so facilitation adapts to whatever your team actually uses
  • facilitation designed to force application to your own organisation, not hypothetical scenarios
  • Australian and New Zealand enterprise context applied throughout, including risk, governance, and procurement realities
  • 94% of AI-Native Foundations participants reported increased confidence in applying AI, across all deliveries for public and private clients

We deliver the course with a focus on application, not demonstration. Participants work with real workflows from their own organisations, using whichever AI tools are available or approved in their environment. The emphasis is on building judgement about where and how to use AI, not on learning a specific platform.

Designed by Scaled Agile. Delivered by Pretty Agile. Focused on helping organisations use AI deliberately, safely, and well.

Day 2: Make it stick, redesign real work, and drive momentum

Public courses are delivered in person across Australia and New Zealand by Pretty Agile's certified AI-Native Trainers. Sessions are highly interactive, combining facilitated discussion, hands-on exercises, and real-world scenarios. Catering and Wi-Fi are included at all venues.

The two-day format is deliberate. Participants come back on day two having had time to process, and consistently arrive sharper and more ready to apply what they've learned to their own work. A half-day session can build awareness. Two days builds capability.

AI-Native Foundations is in-person only — a requirement of the curriculum, and one that reflects how the course is designed to work. The experience depends on live collaboration, guided facilitation, and working on real problems in the room.

Public courses run on a regular schedule in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, and Auckland. Check the dates table above for upcoming sessions.

Private courses are available for organisations that want to run AI-Native Foundations for their own teams. Private delivery can be customised to your organisation's context, tools, and workflows. We can run training at your premises or at a venue of your choice.
