There are no formal prerequisites to attend.

If you plan to sit the exam, this prior SAFe training is recommended: SAFe for Teams (SP) and Leading SAFe (SA).

  • A copy of Tribal Unity by Em Campbell-Pretty

  • One-year membership to SAFe Studio
  • Preparation and eligibility to sit the SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification exam
  • Course certificate of completion
  • Postage of physical materials

The exam is included in the course registration fee (first attempt). Your trainer provides access at the end of the course. You have 30 days to complete the exam online via SAFe Studio at a time of your choosing.

Attendees must attend all four days to qualify for the exam.

Passing the SPC exam renews all your previously earned SAFe certifications and access to match your SPC certification expiration.

Attendees may be eligible to claim PDUs toward PMI continuing education requirements and SEUs toward Scrum Alliance certification.

Implementing SAFe 6.0 Inclusions

Yes. To earn SPC certification, you must attend all four days of Implementing SAFe, even if you have previously completed Leading SAFe. The Implementing SAFe course covers content from Leading SAFe but presents it in a different context.
