Become a SAFe Practice Consultant and lead enterprise SAFe implementations from design through sustained execution.

AI-Empowered Implementing SAFe is Scaled Agile's four-day SPC certification course. It covers the full implementation lifecycle: value stream identification, ART design and launch, PI Planning facilitation, coaching ART execution, Lean Portfolio Management, and the leadership alignment work that determines whether a transformation holds.

The course includes AI prompting techniques and ready-to-use prompt packs for coaching conversations, PI Planning facilitation, transformation communications, and drafts of key artefacts such as Epic Hypothesis Statements and Operational Value Stream Maps, integrated throughout the curriculum alongside Lean-Agile principles.

Co-delivered by two trainers, both SAFe Fellows who are also SPCTs and Certified AI-Native Trainers.

  • Printed and digital course workbook

Participants must attend all four days to qualify for the certification exam.

Implementing SAFe 6.0 Inclusions

Pretty Agile delivers Implementing SAFe as a four-day live online course. Sessions run 9 AM to 6 PM AEST/AEDT. In-person delivery is available for corporate and government groups on request — contact us to discuss options for your team.

Participants who attend all four days and pass the exam earn the SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) credential, issued digitally by Scaled Agile. The certification is valid for one year and renewed annually.

Passing the SPC exam also renews all previously earned SAFe certifications to match your SPC certification expiration date.

One exam attempt is included with your course registration. You have 60 days from attendance confirmation to sit the exam online via SAFe Studio at a time of your choosing.

Your results include a coaching report. An unlimited practice test with question-level feedback is also available via SAFe Studio to help you prepare.

There are no formal prerequisites to attend.

If you plan to sit the exam, this prior SAFe training is recommended: SAFe for Teams (SP) and Leading SAFe (SA).

SAFe Lean Portfolio Management is worth completing before ASPC if you haven't already — it builds the portfolio and governance depth that ASPC assumes.

Advanced SAFe Practice Consultant (ASPC) is the certification step after SPC. It develops your ability to customise SAFe implementations, enable other practitioners, and lead at the executive and portfolio level.

AI-Native Value Architect is the course most relevant to SPCs. You build a working AI solution on day one, then lead initiatives from first signal through to production — which maps directly to the SPC role.

AI-Native Foundations is highly recommended before Value Architect, though not required. If you haven't completed it, that's the place to start.

Both courses are delivered by Pretty Agile, Australia and New Zealand's AI-Native Charter Partner. Running in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and online.

Yes. To earn SPC certification, you must attend all four days of Implementing SAFe, even if you have previously completed Leading SAFe. The Implementing SAFe course covers content from Leading SAFe but presents it in a different context.
