Em Campbell-Pretty is one of the world’s most experienced SAFe® practitioners and the author of two Amazon #1 best-selling books, Tribal Unity and The ART of Avoiding a Train Wreck.
As one of the first SAFe Fellows and SPCTs, Em has been working with SAFe since before it was even called SAFe. After reading Dean Leffingwell's Scaling Software Agility in 2011, she launched Australia's first SAFe Agile Release Train at Telstra in early 2012.
After several years leading this groundbreaking transformation and publishing one of the first ten official SAFe case studies, Em founded Pretty Agile — inspired by her popular blog of the same name.
Today, she and her team continue to help organisations around the world achieve business agility through SAFe and Lean Portfolio Management. Em has supported SAFe implementations across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and North America — including launching the Philippines' first Agile Release Train.
Em is also a Certified AI-Native Trainer, one of the first in Australia. She delivers AI-Native Foundations courses across Australia and New Zealand, helping leaders redesign governance, decision rights, and roles so AI becomes a normal part of how work gets done. Pretty Agile was the first AI-Native Charter Partner in APAC, selected by Scaled Agile from over 80 applicants.
