AI-Native Charter Partner Badge

Most enterprises have AI tools and AI investment in place. The challenge isn't getting started — it's building a system that connects leadership strategy, team capability, and real business outcomes.

Pretty Agile is the only locally owned and operated AI-Native Charter Partner in Australia and New Zealand, selected by Scaled Agile to deliver the full AI-Native Approach in the region — training, leadership facilitation, and capability building.

Pretty Agile is also a Scaled Agile Platinum SPCT Partner — the only organisation in Australia to hold both designations. For enterprises that use SAFe, the AI-Native Approach integrates directly with existing SAFe practices.

The AI-Native Approach to Enterprise AI Transformation

Five interconnected phases that move an organisation from fragmented AI activity to a governed, AI-Native operating model.
Designed to deliver first business value within 45 days.

The AI-Native Approach — five phases: Commit, Align, Catalyze, Build, Scale

Commit to Change

Most organisations have someone who owns AI on paper. What they often lack is clarity on where it will actually create value in their specific context, and what leadership needs to do about it. The Commit phase establishes that clarity — assessing where the organisation stands today, identifying where AI can drive real business value, and building the shared leadership intent needed to act.

Align on Value

Strategy without prioritisation becomes noise. The Align phase turns leadership intent into a specific set of opportunities tied to measurable outcomes — an AI Money Map that defines where value will actually come from before teams are mobilised or build work begins. The outcome: a shared view of what AI will and won't deliver, and why it matters for this particular business.

Catalyze an AI Workforce

Workforce capability is where most AI transformations stall. Tool access doesn't produce fluency — structured learning in the context of real work does. AI-Native Foundations builds applied capability at the team level: not awareness of AI, but the ability to work differently using it. That capability is reinforced through continuous access to the global AI-Native practitioner community, designed for ongoing learning rather than a single training event.

Build AI-Empowered Workflows and Solutions

Most organisations can run an AI pilot. The gap is between a successful proof of concept and a production solution that delivers consistent value across the enterprise. The Build phase addresses that gap through the AI-Native Value Architect role — a two-day certification where practitioners build a working AI solution on day one, then run a real initiative through the full lifecycle: the concerns enterprises consistently get stuck on are data, ethics, risk, and legal, and this is where they get resolved. Certified Value Architects unlock the AI-Native Solution Lifecycle Workshop, the structured environment for moving from identified opportunity to delivered value.

Scale AI Capabilities

Sustainable AI transformation doesn't depend on external support indefinitely. The Scale phase builds internal capability — a Centre of Excellence, reinforced success factors, and trained internal AI-Native practitioners — so the organisation can keep running the model without continued outside intervention. This is the point where the approach becomes self-sustaining.

Three Signs There's No System Behind Your AI Rollout

If any of these are familiar, the approach is worth understanding:

Licences deployed, P&L unchanged.

People are using AI across the organisation — saving time on reports, emails, individual tasks. But when someone asks what the investment is actually returning, what's different in the P&L, what's changed about how the business operates — the honest answer is: not much yet.

Activity everywhere, outcomes nowhere.

AI is already happening across the organisation — different teams, different tools, individual experiments, some of it genuinely useful. But there's no consistent approach, no shared framework, and no way to tell what's actually working or how to scale it.

No shared direction at the top.

Your leadership team hasn't agreed on what AI should do for this organisation. Some are believers. Some are sceptical. Decisions are being made one use case at a time, without a shared direction — and whoever owns AI is fighting battles they shouldn't have to fight alone.

The research backs this up:

Globally, 88% of organisations now use AI, but only 39% report any earnings impact, and just 6% see significant value. The difference isn't the tools, it's how the work is redesigned around them. (McKinsey, The State of AI, 2025)

In the same research, workflow redesign had the single biggest effect on whether an organisation saw financial impact from AI, out of 25 factors tested. (McKinsey, 2025)

Start Here: Leading the AI-Native Organisation

A focused working session for your senior leadership team.

Before teams are mobilised or build work begins, your leadership team needs a shared starting point: clarity on where AI will drive value in your specific context, what the investment priorities are, and who owns what. Without it, AI activity stays fragmented — everyone moving, nothing connecting.

Leading the AI-Native Organisation is that starting point. In a single day, your leadership team moves from scattered AI awareness to aligned priorities, a strategic direction the organisation can act on, and the foundation for everything that follows.

Delivered as a private, in-person session for your leadership team.

AI-Native Workshops

Workshops move the approach forward. Each sits at a specific phase.

Frequently Asked Questions

The AI-Native Approach is a five-phase framework developed by Scaled Agile for helping enterprises move from fragmented AI activity to a governed AI operating model. The five phases — Commit, Align, Catalyze, Build, and Scale — address leadership alignment, workforce capability, solution delivery, and enterprise-wide scaling in sequence.

The approach is designed to deliver first business value within 45 days when applied at the team, department, or business unit level. It is built to start in a manageable context, demonstrate value, and then scale.

Standard AI training builds individual awareness of tools and techniques. The AI-Native Approach is a system that connects leadership strategy, workforce capability, solution delivery, and enterprise scaling. Training is one component of the approach, not the whole of it.

An AI Centre of Excellence is an internal function that governs AI practices, reinforces adoption, and builds sustainable capability across the enterprise. It is typically established in the Scale phase, once AI has been demonstrated at the team or business unit level.

The approach is designed for medium to large enterprises that have AI tools and investment in place but are not yet seeing consistent, scalable returns. It applies regardless of whether the organisation uses SAFe — the AI-Native Approach operates at the whole-of-enterprise level.
